LightBulb – improve sleep after a long day
The program is used to smoothly change the color temperature of the screen in order to reduce the harmful effects of blue light emitted by the computer screen. The program is intended primarily for those PC users (Windows / Mac) who spend most of the day in front of the monitor, often sitting up late into the evening. It selects warmer colors for the screen in the evening, which in turn leads to a decrease in the production of melatonin in the human brain and improves sleep.
Step-by-step instruction:

Open the official page of the application on GitHub – LightBulb
Go to the very bottom of the page and in the “Download” section, click on – “Stable release”
2 Step
Select the latest version (it will be at the top of the page), download the installation file [.exe] or archive [.zip]
3 Step
Open the downloaded file and install the application
If after starting the application you get an error, then click INSTALL.
We are waiting for the program to install the missing components.
4 Step
When you open the program for the first time, you will be asked to unlock the gamma, click “OK”
5 Step
Setting the sunrise and sunset manually or using the location
6 Step
Adjust color temperature and brightness depending on the time of day

Choose whether to include the program when you start your computer, as well as whether to install updates automatically

We save the settings to the “SAVE” button
The program can be turned on / off using the icon in the upper left corner.
