How to open a program from the START menu without using a mouse.
Open the ” START” menu, press the hot keys [Windows] or [Ctrl + Esc]
Windows 8 does not have a ” START” menu, so pressing the [Windows] or [Ctrl + Esc] hotkeys will bring up the original screen or desktop.

How to open programs on the PC desktop using only the keyboard.
The [ TAB ] hotkey will allow you to navigate the Desktop of your PC, and [ TAB ] can also switch between the Desktop, items on the Taskbar and the Start menu. In some cases, it may take several taps on the [ Tab ] hotkey to navigate to the icons on the Desktop.
